10. Contests
DraftApes operates different types of contests based on cryptocurrencies, sports and stock market. Availability of contests might be subject to change in the future. You can find all available contests under "Contests and Prizes".
Furthermore there are different number of players, entry fee limits, levels of users' limitations, duration of contest, etc. However, all the principles set forth herein as well as in the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy will remain unchanged, otherwise, we will inform you accordingly.
Any contest is available for any user who meets the Eligibility requirements and has a certain amount of funds on his/her wallets's balance. The amount of the entry fee is always the same for all users who are about to take part in the relevant contest. DraftApes operates the no-entry fee contests as well, which are aimed at helping users to understand the Service, its rules, principles, mechanics and other features, as well as having fun and pleasure.
The user gets his/her points depending on the chosen tools dynamic and tools percentage changes during the relevant period. The percentage is calculated by determining the proportion between the tools price fixed at the moment of the contest start and the tools price displayed at the end of the contest . Points gained for each tool in the portfolio are put together in a final score.
Users with the highest scores become winners of the relevant contest, and share the prize pool. The number of users with the highest scores which will share the prize pool, the proportions for distribution of the prize pool, the amount of the prize pool, as well as other terms and conditions of a particular contest can be seen by every user before the contest starts. In case two or more players have the same results, the reward is equally divided between them. Please note that there is an internal calculation with a higher precision than the displayed users performance.
The winner gets the reward by receiving a transfer to his virtual account's balance.
DraftApes cannot in any manner influence start, duration, completion, or results of any contest, and therefore affect the rating table, portfolio, lineup, or performance of a separate user.
11. Users' Rating
DraftApes calculates a rating for each user, which is based on the following criteria:
- number of contests in which the user has participated;
- performance of user's lineup/portfolio or other metric used in each game in which the user participated;
- scores count involves both positive and negative performance of user's score.
Each user will automatically participate in aggregate, monthly, weekly and daily (if applicable) rating lists.
12. Scripts
Use of unauthorized scripts is prohibited on DraftApes and will lead to immediate disqualification.
Authorized scripts will be made available through DraftApes and accessible to all users prior to game entry.
13. Scoring Revisions
On some occasions (e.g. because of the Service malfunctions), the final scores may be revised after they have been released. When that happens, the DraftApes user scores will not be updated, and the settlements will not be revised. Note that this is not the same situation as a case where a correction needs to be made after settlement due to a problem with the data feed or the settlement process. The settlement process (including payment) may be reversed in these cases, and contests resettled correctly.
14. Service Access and Editing Problems
While we try to ensure that DraftApes is functioning smoothly, we may periodically experience an outage or slow performance periods like any online service.
These can sometimes result in an inability to access the Service, problems editing portfolios or lineups, or problems entering new contests.
If you are unable to access the Service, please report the problems by emailing us at contact@draftapes.com. Suppose there are sustained periods where users are unable to access Service functionality or otherwise prevented from editing portfolios/lineups or in certain other situations. In that case, we may provide instructions on how to cancel your entries over e-mail prior to game time.
15. Contest Cancellation
DraftApes reserves the right to cancel contests at our discretion, without any restrictions. This would typically be done only in cases where we believe that due to problems on the Service or events affecting sport events, crypto or stock market, there would be a widespread impact on the contests' integrity.
